OUR STORY:
The centre was first established in 1929 as the Marsden home for boys by successful businessman Mr Frederick Marsden.

With the change in government policies and community needs, the centre no longer operates as an orphanage, but now as a camp and conference centre with all profits going directly into supporting the Marsden Group and other youth focused community groups.

From 1929 to the present, the management committee of Marsden home for boys and later The Frederick Marsden Youth Centre has honoured Mr Marsden's desire to help young people in the community and beyond.

MISSION STATEMENT:
Marsden will provide services to the community that assist people in need to achieve a better quality of life through christian love, hope & compassion.

VISION STATEMENT:
Marsden will operate within a framework of christian ideals and convictions to positively impact on the quality of life of children, young people and families.
