Snowy River Camp is conveniently situated on the border between Victoria and New South Wales. The mighty Murray River lies close by to the North and the majestic Snowy Mountains to the East. A huge variety of exciting and educational activities for groups. 
There's no greater variety to be found anywhere. Over 40 activities.

Environment

Snowy River Camp is a 72 ha rural setting in sunny North East Victoria, in Tallangatta Valley amid the rolling foothills of the Great Dividing Range. A variety of domesticated farm & native ambassador animals mix freely with guests in our large, landscaped garden.

Accomodation

We offer 3 separate sites, two for campers and one using our accommodation blocks, so for large groups you have a variety of options. 84 beds, 24 bedrooms, leaders ensuite. Bedrooms/bathrooms under one roof, linen (charge), beds and bunks. Unlimited campsites.

Minimum Group Size

Prices work on a sliding scale according to numbers but we have no minimum numbers.

Catering

Full catering is provided. Kitchen facilities available for self catering.

Accessibility

Staff have experience in working with people with disabilities. Checklist available on request. Accessible areas: all building entrances, dining and accommodation, some toilet/shower
facilities, most pathways are wide and firm, most pathways are manageable for wheelchairs, most activities, single beds
available.

Indoor Facilities

Dining room, sports stadium with indoor climbing wall, leap of faith, indoor sports equipment, games and props, billiard
and table tennis rooms, whiteboard, VCR, DVD, TV, radio, music, disco/party lights, laundry,
concerts, lectures, film & video entertainment.

Outdoor Facilities

Horseriding, flying fox, burma bridge, prusiking, abseiling/climbing walls, leap of faith, above ground swimming pool, 12 acre lake,
canoeing, raft building, swimming, leadership/initiative course, volleyball, orienteering, fishing, pet native wildlife, trust course, campfires and hiking, yabbying, bushcooking, the list is endless.....
