Whether it’s a school camp or a residential for Cubs, Scouts, Guides or other uniformed groups, we know how to bring out the best in young people. Every day at a PGL camp is packed with fantastic adventure activities designed to excite, inspire and motivate young people. Trying something new, challenging themselves and supporting each other is what a PGL experience is all about. Children acquire a newfound self-confidence and some may even discover skills they never even knew they had!

It’s more than just a camp, it’s a journey of discovery.


The beautiful Camp Rumbug is located in the majestic hills of South Gippsland, two hours from Melbourne's CBD and set in 200 cares of glorious temperate rainforest overlooking Wilson's Promontory National Park.


350 in three purpose built lodges. Huge investment has resulted in the opening of the latest of 2 fantastic new accommodation buildings - Lakeview Lodge offers self-contained facilities with ensuite rooms.

Minimum Group Size

No minimum group sizes.


We provide a fully catered service, with a menu full of fresh vegetables, salads and fruit, plus plenty of carbohydrates for energy. We can also cater for special dietary requirements.

If you’d rather self-cater, then we can offer kitchen facilities.


PGL is committed to helping all guests realise their potential. Where appropriate and practical we will have measures in place for guests with additional needs to enable them to access facilities and to engage as fully as possible in the adventure programmes.

Due to a limited number of coaches with lifts for wheelchairs, please ensure that bookings are made in advance so that a vehicle is available for you.

Please inform us of any participants with additional needs relating to disability/accessibility by completing our Additional Needs Form and returning it to us when you confirm your booking.

Indoor Facilities

Dining room, recreation room, covered recreation area, craft room, stage, DVD, VCR, OHP, PA system, stereo, public telephone, table tennis, indoor sports/games equipment, drying room.

Outdoor Facilities

Our action-packed activity sessions help children develop new skills and confidence in a safe and fun environment. Over 30 activities including dual abseiling wall, multiple archery bases, bush craft, 3 canoeing bases, 2 x dual flying foxes, dual giant swing, low ropes, raft building and so many more! Exciting new bushcamp program now available.

Transport can be arranged to and from the camp and nearby venues.
