Julie was appointed to the ACA Board in Feb 2010. She is currently the joint owner/operator of Active Education, an outdoor education provider in SA, for almost 3 years with husband Dave. Julie has previous Board experience with the Energy Industry Ombudsman SA for 3 years as a Community Representative. Prior to the EIOSA appointment served 2 years on the Consumer Advice Council to the Energy Industry Regulator following several years of lobbying activity in SA.
She has had extensive management experience for 7 years with The Salvation Army including 3 years as the State Director responsible for 25 service outlets around SA. Twenty years experience as a Social Work Practitioner in Adelaide, Sydney and London, working for half of that time in various UK disability services.
